Alan Hansen was one of the most successful Scottish football players of all time until a devastating knee injury ended his playing career in 1981.
He is the only person to have won all of the honours available at club level at least twice and captained Liverpool to an historic double in 1986.
A keen tactical understanding of the game made him the face of Match of the Day Live on BBC TV, along with Gary Lineker.
Alan also writes for the Daily Express and is an established motivational speaker.
