Bruce Grobbelaar was born in Durban, South Africa on 6 October 1957.
Despite Bruce being a talented cricketer as a youngster, he went onto to be a very distinguished goalkeeper, making nearly 600 appearances, however he will always be remembered for his time at Anfield with the great Liverpool side of the 80s and early 90s.
Bruce made 440 appearances for The Reds and won many honours including The FA Cup, European Cup, League Cup and Charity Shield. Bruce was a definate character of the game. Bruce later went to play with brief spells for Plymouth Argyle and Southampton.
Bruce is available for personal appearances and as an after dinner speaker for Sporting Dinners & Lunches along with Golf Days.
